Who never played Battleships as a child ? By adapting the rules of this popular parlour game to the world of the casino, War Game allows you to sit down at the gaming table even if you’re a complete beginner.
Minimum wager : 10 euros.
Number of players : from 1 to 7.
Aim of the game : playing against the bank, the player must have the highest card.
Before starting the game, the croupier shuffles two packs of 52 cards, asks one of the players to cut them, then places them in the card shuffling machine.
For the game to begin, each player must place his wager in front of him/her.
Players can also place a bet on “Tie”. This wager wins if the player’s card is equal to that of the bank. The odds are 10 times the wager.
The croupier deals one card to each player and the bank, face up. You win if your card is higher than that of the bank. The value of the cards in descending order is as follows : ace, king, queen, Jack, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three and two.
When the player’s card and that of the bank are the same, the player can go to war. He then has a choice of two options for play :
• He can surrender and lose half of his bet.
• He can go to war aginst the bank and must then place an additional bet equal to his initial wager. The bank also places a bet equal to the the player’s initial wager on its box. You can also place another bet on “Tie”.
If the player decides to go to war, the croupier burns a card, deals the next one, burns another card, then deals himself a card. You win the war if your card is higher than that of the bank.
You then win everything that has been placed on your box.
Note, however, that there can never be a second battle : the player wins automatically should the situation arise..
